I am conducting a research project on characters within RPGs as part of my degree dissertation at the University of Huddersfield, England

The project will focus on the different ways in which players construct and develop characters in RPGs, in particular Dungeons and Dragons.

I am looking for participants who are willing to answer a questionnaire and return it to me by email. The only requirements are that you are over 18 years of age and consider yourself an experienced player of Dungeons and Dragons (for example you have been playing for more than 2 years and/or play frequently)

The questionnaire has a number of questions about how you choose and create characters, and I am looking for detailed thoughtful responses.

To make sure that the data you provide remains confidential, please provide a pseudonym, if you cannot think of one I will choose one for you.

The research will be subject to ethical guidelines given by the school of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Huddersfield. You will remain anonymous and have the right not to answer specific questions or withdraw from the study at any stage. All data you provide will be destroyed after the project is finished.
